A few days before the Christmas lighting in Madrid, on November 23 at 7:00 p.m., little by little the activities and news for these 2023 holidays are being revealed. One of those that returns is the great Christmas Market in Plaza Mayor, and we already have the dates and opening hours.
It will be from November 24 to December 31, 2023, that the Plaza Mayor Christmas Market will illuminate the city with nativity scenes, Christmas decorations, souvenirs and hats in this well-known corner of the capital.
There will be 104 red booths with gable roofs that will make up the Plaza Mayor Christmas Market and each one will offer a variety of Christmas items, toys; lights, garlands, light waterfalls, household objects, musical instruments and traditional Christmas hats.
This year’s poster seeks to pay tribute to the great designer Modesto Martínez, who has been part of the market’s history since the first official poster came to light.
It is the Plaza Mayor Christmas Market Association, which is in charge of organizing this great event, made up of vendors who have been offering their products in this beautiful point of Madrid for more than a century.
Remember that the Market opens on November 24 with hours from Sunday to Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Fridays, Saturdays, and the day before holidays from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
